What we look at

Negative pressure wound therapy, often called wound VAC therapy, requires coordinated wound and device follow-up. Gateway supports assessment and communication when this therapy is part of an established treatment order.

  • Wound progress and changes in drainage
  • Dressing seal, device concerns and supply coordination
  • Current orders and communication with the nursing team

Care connected to your existing team

Gateway can review a referral from a hospital, skilled nursing facility or physician’s office. We coordinate wound follow-up with the clinicians and nursing teams already involved, including care after discharge.
