Mobile Wound Care Across the Kansas City Metro

Gateway Wound Care covers the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area on both the Missouri and Kansas sides — a region with significant senior living infrastructure and a growing population of patients managing chronic wounds at home. Our nurse practitioners travel to homes and facilities across the KC metro so patients can receive specialty wound care without a clinic trip.

Patients we serve are typically discharged from Saint Luke's, Research Medical Center, Truman/University Health, North Kansas City Hospital, Saint Joseph Medical Center, AdventHealth, and similar acute care hospitals, then need ongoing specialist wound care at home or in a facility. We pick up after the acute setting and stay involved until the wound is closed or transitioned back to a community provider.

Every visit includes a full wound assessment, photo documentation, dressing change or debridement as indicated, and a clinical note sent back to the referring physician. We work alongside — not in place of — home health and primary care.
